DECLARATION
At Finca Collado we want to become a reference point for the creation of wines in the Alto Vinalopó area. On the one hand, recovering and empowering native and ancestral varieties, their forms of cultivation and manner of wine making. On the other hand, researching, improving and developing the creation of wines, mixing history with our skills, with the ultimate aim of conveying delight.
On the edge of madness
In Finca Collado we are a team of young people with the level of daredevil necessary to carry out a project that very few people would champion.
We define our own path
In an area with great potential but low yields and where the vineyards grow at the limits, in the Denomination of Origin, Alicante, historic and yet only now regaining its prestige, and in a world where high-volume productions predominate, we define our own path.
We go back to the beginning to improve
We believe that we can contribute our small grain of sand to build a better world by doing a job that returns us to our origins
We enjoy our work creating enjoyment for others.
We work respectfully with nature and in harmony with our surroundings, in an environment that allows us to enjoy our work and that translates into making enjoyment for all who understand wine is a pleasure.
We are small and non-conformist
We are a small winery because we want to be and because we think that it is the only way to work with our convictions. Difficulty does not matter to us because we have a non-conformist spirit. We are not in a hurry and, little by little, like the vineyard, as we advance and improve, we create the wines that unite the past and the future, the land and people, the work and the pleasure of living. We are convinced that a small project like ours, despite the extreme conditions, with our understanding and making of wine, can be viable and sustainable in the long term. Because we are faithful to the land and its history. Because we not only take advantage of cultural heritage, but also investigate, enrich and think about its future. And in this way, we understand that we not only produce wines, but that we are involved in cultural creation.
We are convinced that a small project like ours, despite the extreme conditions and our way of understanding and making wine, can be viable and sustainable in the long term. Because we are faithful to the territory and its history. Because we not only take advantage of the cultural legacy, but we investigate it, enrich it and think about its future. And in this way, we understand that we not only make wines, but also contribute to cultural creation.
